DISPUTES PROCESS

  • If customer disputes initial valuation a second valuation can be carried out (cost payable by the customer)
  • The lower of the two valuations is used to calculate the value of the equity loans
  • A customer complaint about the valuation would be referred back to the valuer for comment. This could result in the valuer commencing its own complaints procedure
  • The customer retains the right to take action against the valuer
